hey there,
Just went to this park for some letterbook hunting and found the Box
for this letterbox, but no stamp. The box and lid were on the ground
at the base of the stump. I put the lid back on and replaced it
inside the stump and covered it with 3 rocks that were at the base
also.
What a let down. This was the first time I have found evidence of a
letterbox, but no stamp. depressing.

Amanda.... I am
very sorry to hear about the Battery box gone missing again. That was a
replacement box and stamp that I put out after I also discovered the box chewed
on and spread around and the stamp gone. (Raccoon???) Was the log book in one
piece? I will try again soon. Maybe I deed to get a metal ammo box with the
locking lid????
Where you able to stamp into
any of the other nearby Leesylvania boxes?
